One of my favorite stories of Japanese Mythology is about the Slit-Mouth Woman. So the story behind this is about a beautiful woman who was married to a samurai, but she was secretly cheating on him with another man. When the samurai found out about it, he slit her mouth from ear to ear. There have been many adaptions to this story as years passed. The modern tale of the Slit-Mouth woman now is a woman who walks around at night wearing a surgical mask. They say that she usually targets children or college students. She approaches them and asks, "Am I Beautiful?". If the person answers "Yes", she removes her mask and then asks, "Even Like This?". From here if the person answers "No", she cuts their mouth to make it look like hers. If the person answers "Yes" a second time, she follows them home and then kills them. Apparently the only way to avoid her from killing you is to tell her that she looks "So-so". (That's just ridiculous!) Anyways there are a lot of movie adaptions of this Urban Legend that you should check out. They are all really good.

If you ever run into the Slit-Mouth woman, tell her I said "hi". And remember the only way to get past her is to tell her she looks "so-so" lulz. :D
